The Solar Performance Snapshot provides a quick, visual overview of your system’s solar yield, energy flow, and return on investment (RoI) metrics — all accessible directly from the Map Design page.
This feature gives designers and sales users instant insights into how the system performs over time, helping to identify opportunities for optimisation before running a full simulation or report.
Accessing the Snapshot
On the Map Design page, look for the chart icon (📊) located near the lower-right section of your screen.
Click the icon to open the Solar Performance Snapshot panel.
Charts & Data Insights
1. Hourly Average Profile
Displays the average daily profile of the system across a 24-hour period, including:
PV Production – average hourly energy generation from solar.
Consumption – typical site energy usage throughout the day.
Battery – charging and discharging behaviour of connected storage.
This view helps identify self-consumption patterns and how well solar generation aligns with on-site demand.
2. Monthly Average Production
Shows average daily solar production per month, helping users visualise seasonal performance variation throughout the year.
Key Metrics
The following metrics are displayed for a quick understanding of the system’s balance and efficiency:
Avg Daily Load: Average daily energy consumption on-site.
Avg Daily Solar: Average daily solar generation.
Peak Demand: Maximum power demand recorded.
Solar → Load: Percentage of the total load met directly by solar generation.
These metrics update automatically based on system configuration and location data.
Tip
Use the Solar Performance Snapshot early in the design process to:
Validate system sizing against customer load.
Identify opportunities to adjust orientation, tilt, or battery capacity.
Quickly compare designs without running full reports.
