Features
Link the Contact Us form on your WordPress site with your SolarPlus account, so that when potential clients fill it in, a New Contact is created in your SolarPlus account, complete with all the information they filled in.
You can see a sample contact form with a range of optional custom contact fields here.
The SolarPlus plugin for Wordpress is designed to work alongside the Gravity Forms plugin, which provides a versatile contact form design and layout. For a new Wordpress site, add both the Gravity Forms plugin and the SolarPlus plugin supplied by our team.

Important Tips
Address Field
For the address field you can set a default country and optionally show all or some of the fields:
Under Feeds, select the address option 'Full Address'.
Status Field
Add a Dropdown field for the Contact Status merge field.
Click 'Show Values' and enter the value as '0' to set it as a Lead. (Note that the status will become Active only after a Contact accepts a quote.
Click on Advanced, and set the field to 'Hidden'.
Source Field
The Source field can either be configured in the same was as 'Status' above in order to set the Source to 'Website' with the field value set to '7'.
Alternatively, you can create this as a visible field if you wish the customer to select an answer to a question such as 'Where did you hear about us?'
Note the values below that correspond to the Source options in SolarPlus.
Mapping of Custom Fields
When syncing Custom Fields, take note of the following:
In the Feed section of Gravity Forms, optionally map each field to SolarPlus.
Check that the field type corresponds to the custom field type in SolarPlus.
To manage Custom Fields in SolarPlus, go to Admin > My Business > Custom Fields
Drop Down Select Lists
A select list must be configured in Gravity Forms with the values set to match the values set in SolarPlus for a Custom Field type of Select List (dropdown).
Add the Dropdown form field and click on 'Show Values'. Enter a value to correspond to the value options set in that custom field in SolarPlus.
It is recommended to use numeric values to minimise errors.
Optional Mapping
In general, we advise you not to map the field, 'Use Business Name as Client', as this is best set manually in SolarPlus.
You can just ignore this option. All the Solarplus's Contact Form inputs are shown in Wordpress, however you can just ignore those inputs that do not have corresponding gravity form input that you created.
Adding Category checkboxes
If you have Categories set up in SolarPlus and wish to include an option in the form for a customer to check that category, not the following:
The checkbox added in Gravity Forms should have a single 'Yes' selection.
The value MUST correspond to the category ID found in SolarPlus.
In SolarPlus, go to the admin menu (click on the user name at top right) > Manage Categories:
Click on or hover over the Update icon to see the Category ID.
In Gravity Form, create the Checkbox field, click 'Show Values', enter the label, eg. 'Yes', and add the value as the Category ID.
For multiple Category selection options, you can add these checkbox options in one Gravity Forms field.
Checkboxes and Radio Fields
When a checkbox is added as a custom field in SolarPlus, that custom field has an ID which can be seen in the URL when in the update mode for that field.
Use this ID as the 'value' field in your Gravity Form checkbox or radio widget.
When a Radio field is added in SolarPlus, each radio option has a value. Give the value integers such as 0, 1, 2...
In Gravity Forms, add an option with the Value matching the value field in the SolarPlus radio field.
