This article is intended for SOLAR WHOLESALERS ONLY, and contains instructions on how to maintain your list of stock codes so that customers can easily access your products and pricing when they are creating quotes in SolarPlus.
1. Log into your Inventory management account at go.solarplus.co
This is a different account to the one you use for creating designs. It's important to keep the two separate, because when you are doing a design, any equipment you add to a design will also be added to your inventory. You may want to experiment with new equipment that you don't stock, and you don't want those items ending up on your stock codes list.
2. Go to More Settings > Inventory.
3. Remove old items
Keep your list up-to-date with only the items you are currently selling. Archive old items - search for the item's name and click the Archive button.
4. Add new Inverters / PCE, panels, batteries and BESS
You will need to add these from the Product Library. You can't create custom ones, nor upload them via .csv
- Click the Add item from Product Library button.
- Select the category and search for the name.
- Select the item and click Add to Inventory
If the product you want to add isn't there, please check that you're looking in the right category, and then send the data sheet to us via a support ticket and we will add it for you.
5. Update the Stock Code and Supplier Name of the items you just added from the Product Library
If you only added a few, you might want to do this via the app:
- Go to Inventory and click the edit icon next to the item
- Scroll down to Pricing Options, and click the edit icon next to the pricing details
- Update the Stock Code, and select the Supplier Name- this must be your business name.
To edit many products more quickly in excel, see instructions in the next section below.
6. Add all other new items (eg cable, EVSE, accessories)
- Download this spreadsheet and open it in Excel (do not use Google sheets)
- Copy the item names and stock codes into the appropriate columns
- Select the Category from the available options.

Update the Supplier Name to your Business name, EXACTLY as it appears in SolarPlus under More Settings > Admin > My Business > Suppliers
- Do not use this method for adding inverters / PCE, panels, batteries or BESS - they will need to be added from the Product Library - see above instructions for these items.
- Do not edit the grey columns
- Save the file in .csv format
- Go to the SolarPlus Inventory page and click upload CSV
Edit product names and stock codes in bulk.
Do not use this method for adding new products, just for changing names and stock codes
- Go to Inventory and click the Download CSV button.
- Don't filter the selection, just click Download File.
- Open the .csv file in Excel.
- Edit the product names and stock codes. Do not add new items or delete items.
- Save as .csv format
- Go to Inventory and click the Upload CSV button.
