Job Packs for Installers

The Install Job Pack is a PDF including:

• Customer and Site information (auto-filled from the Customer CRM and Site Survey pages

• Single Line Diagram (auto-generated SLD or your own uploaded diagram)

• Panel layout image

• Printable Site Map

• Cabling data

• Bill of materials

• Any uploaded document (Image or PDF)

• Data sheets for any system components

Select the user who you wish to send the Install Job Pack to, and click 'Send Email Report'

(If your installer’s name isn’t on this list, add them by going to the Admin menu > Invite User)

Customer and Site information

To update this information, follow the link to the Site Survey page.

The system electrical specifications including expected Voc, Vmp and Isc are displayed for each MPPT input.

Cable Data

The Cable data column in the Installation page, lists the essential cabling networks that is needed for the installation of the proposed solar or battery system designed in SolarPlus.

This section provides comprehensive coverage of the different cables that are needed ( String DC, Array DC, Main AC supply line etc.). The length and the cross-section area of the cables are also displayed to enable the installer to prepare for the job easily.

Bill of Materials

The Bill of Materials contain all of the components selected in the system design process.

You can control which inventory categories are added into the Bill of Materials from the Business Settings area. You can also set whether the 'Supplier' detail appear in this table.

You have an option to download the table as a CSV file to enable purchase orders to be sent.

Notes and other Relevant Details

• The Notes section provides space for the user to add additional information relating to the installation of the system design.

• This text area is provided for information to be passed to the installer for quality control, workplace safety, or practical operational matters.

• The installer can also note responses to the text area

The Install Files section allows the user to attach images, files and user-generated connection diagrams to the system proposal and installation documentation in SolarPlus.

Connection Diagram Upload

• If the automatically generated Connection Diagram is not suitable for a custom design, you can upload your own one.

• The file format must be one of: .png, .jpg, .jpeg or .gif

• Click 'Save' to begin uploading the file.

Install Images

• This area allows for upload of photos during the install process.

• Add an image Title and Caption BEFORE selecting the file. When the file is selected it will upload immediately

• Once uploaded, you have the option of check the link to 'Include in Manual'. If you change your mind, you can again tick the option, which will have changed to 'Exclude from manual'.

• To delete an image, tick the 'delete' icon on the right-hand side.

Adding PDF Documents

If you wish to add a PDF to the Install Pack, go to the Commissioning page and add PDFs at the bottom of the page then click 'Include in Manual'
