and how to get the exact location for a nearmap image
If a job is at a remote or new address that doesn’t appear on Google, or if it’s a large property and you need to pin-point the site address, you can use a Plus Code instead.
Note: if looking for a new property, you may first need to find a map location by doing a web search for the address - it is likely you will find a real estate listing that was created for that property. Commonly on one of the top real estate pages you will see a map that will help you to find the exact location on GoogleMaps. Then search google by the closest street address you see in that real estate map.
-
Locate a site on Google Maps using the wide area search available to pinpoint the location
-
Switch to Satellite view, then click on the map in the position you wish to identify
-
The Lat / Long will be given in decimal form as in the image. Click on the Lat/Lon coordinates and address details appear on the left.
-
Copy the PLUS CODE shown eg. 5Q5Q+95 Laverton North, Victoria
-
Enter the plus code in the address field in SolarPlus and it will be shown in the autocomplete list.
